ELDERLY WOMAN "ESACAPES" FROM THE SULMONA' S HOSPITAL
"To add to the dose of things that do not go to the peligno hospital is added the case of the old woman who last night left the emergency room, evidently eluding the surveillance of the health and parasanitary staff present at that time. The woman, who suffers from senile dementia, was later tracked down by the police near the cemetery after being reported by a passer-by. The same was immediately returned to the hospital. If we had been in a prison we would have talked about evasion and the investigations would be triggered against the staff operating there. What would "fleeing" from the hospital mean in terms of responsibility? Without prejudice to the fact that it is not clear how an elderly woman, in full confusion, managed to evade the surveillance of the employees and leave without a trace, one wonders how this can be achieved. Would it be enough to speak only of a shortage of staff? To readers the considerations of the case".
