ROMA - "Successo "planetario", oseremo dire, per l'iniziativa "Plant a Tree" di cui al progetto Green IPA. Dall'international Executive Board sono stati incoraggiati tutti i membri dell'IPA distribuiti nel mondo a piantare almeno un albero nelle loro regioni. Li si invitava a farlo attraverso la collaborazione con scuole e comunità locali per fornire manodopera per la sostenibilità a lungo termine dei progetti e così è stato.L'invito avanzato, infatti , ha prodotto una grande risposta da parte dei poliziotti sparsi per il mondo.
Molte delle sezioni aderenti, distribuite in 68 nazioni dei 5 continenti, hanno avviato progetti di sostegno a questo evento ( le immagini poste a corredo mostrano alcuni degli eventi organizzati in tutto il mondo).
Molte Sezioni, Delegazioni e Comitati locali IPA dall'Italia al Kenia, dalla Germania allo Sri Lanka, Australia, Moldavia, Lituania, Giappone, USA, etc., si sono stretti attorno agli studenti di molte scuole per sostenere la cura dell'ambiente e il ripristino di politiche green che riportino quell'equilibrio necessario affinché la natura torni ad essere amica dell'uomo malgrado quello che quest'ultimo è stato capace di tributargli.
"Noi dell'IPA ci impegniamo a promuovere la consapevolezza ambientale e a contribuire positivamente nei confronti delle comunità che serviamo. Lo facciamo col fine precipuo di ridare ai nostri figli quella terra che è loro e che noi abbiamo solo preso in prestito". - afferma Mauro Nardella, Direttore Editoriale della rivista dell'International Police Association Italia e corrispondente per l'International Administration Centre delle newsletter del mondo-
" Rappresentanze di 400.000 iscritti nel mondo, tra esse moltissime italiane quali Palermo, Cecina, Pisa, Pesaro, etc...solo per fare un esempio, con la piantumazione di molti alberi hanno contribuito a restituire un po' di dignità a una terra troppo maltrattata dall'uomo. L'auspicio è che nel prossimo futuro siano in tanti a emulare un gesto che seppur apparentemente piccolo possa offrire spunti di riflessione sul tema e, perché no, formazione ed educazione ambientale alle generazioni che verranno"

Cosa dire di più?
L'IPA si presta ad essere ancora una volta una delle realtà al mondo che, coniugando il motto che la contraddistingue" Servo per Amikeko" ( che in esperanto significa servire attraverso l'amicizia) e la possibilità di accomunare moltissime professionalità di ogni estrazione mondiale, potrà degnamente fare da contraltare ai tanti problemi che, per le più disparate motivazioni, attanagliano il mondo. Non a caso si ritrova ad essere organo consultivo dell'ONU.

PLANETARY SUCCESS FOR THE IPA GREEN "PLANT A TREE" PROJECT
"Planetary" success, we dare say, for the "Plant a Tree" initiative of the Green IPA project. All IPA members throughout the world were encouraged by the International Executive Board to plant at least one tree in their regions. They were invited to do this through collaboration with schools and local communities to provide manpower for the long-term sustainability of the projects and so they did. The invitation made, in fact, produced a great response from policemen around the world. Many participating sections, distributed across 68 countries on 5 continents, have launched projects to support this event (the accompanying images show some of the events organized around the world). Many local IPA Sections, Delegations and Committees from Italy to Kenya, from Germany to Sri Lanka, Australia, Moldova, Lithuania, Japan, USA, etc., have rallied around the students of many schools to support care for the environment and the restoration of green policies that restore the necessary balance so that nature becomes man's friend again despite what the latter has been capable of doing to him. "We at IPA are committed to promoting environmental awareness and contributing positively to the communities we serve. We do this with the primary aim of giving back to our children the land that is theirs and that we have only borrowed" - states Mauro Nardella, Editorial Director of the magazine of the International Police Association Italy and correspondent for the International Administration Center of the world's newsletters -
Representatives of 400,000 members around the world, among them many Italians such as Palermo, Cecina, Pisa, Pesaro, etc... just to give an example, with the planting of many trees they have contributed to restoring a bit of dignity to an overly mistreated land by man. The hope is that in the near future there will be many who emulate a gesture which, although apparently small, can offer food for thought on the topic and, why not, training and environmental education for generations to come" -Nardella specifies- What more can I say? The IPA lends itself to once again being one of the realities in the world that, combining the saied that distinguishes it "Servo per Amikeko" (which in Esperanto means serving through friendship) and the possibility of welcoming many professionals from all over the world , will be able to worthily counteract the many problems that, for the most disparate reasons, grip the world. It is no coincidence that it finds itself as a consultative body of the UN.
