THE VICAR PRESIDENT OF IPA ITALIA ALFREDO IASUOZZI LEADS A TASK FORCE TO SAVE TWO UKRAINIAN CHILDREN
She did not know how to do Valentina, a desperate grandmother who had only one thought until a few days ago: to bring her two granddaughters to Italy from her. The two helpless un girls lived until the other day, in fact, in the land stained by the blood of the ongoing conflict. They make it up in a condition, exposed as they were to the bombs of the cursed war in progress, of extreme danger. Valentina, although immersed in a profound will, never lost heart. His thoughts immediately went to Alfredo Iasuozzi, the deputy national president of the IPA. Person with whom he has always collaborated in the associative path and of which he has always recognized the profound sense of humanity and the nature of a good person always ready to help people in difficulty (on the other hand the IPA of which for decades has represents the banner, among other things, deals above all with this). Alfredo immediately knows what to do. Nicolangelo Pezone calls national president from whom the contacts of the Italian ambassador in Poland and of the president of the Committee of Italians Abroad for Poland Dr. Silvia Rosato consular district of Warsaw are quickly captured. It is with them that Iasuozzi manages to stir things up. Rosato gets in touch with her grandmother Valentina promptly, making her immediately obtain the necessary documents for handling the paperwork. Food, accommodation, air tickets and assistance are completely free of charge are the first things that are guaranteed to you. The heroine grandmother immediately takes off for Poland. Hugged her two little angels in a liberating cry Valentina made in Italy with a direct flight to Rome. At the Ciampino airport the three stopped at 22.00 on March 16. To welcome them there was the Red Cross which, after having carefully welcomed and refreshed them, took them to Giulianova where the vicar national president of the IPA was waiting for them together with the citizen IPA group. Iasuozzi, however, did not limit himself to assisting only Valentina and her two granddaughters. Upon hearing of the presence of another Ukrainian mother and daughter on the same plane engaged in the humanitarian mission, he immediately did his utmost to ensure that, through the secretary of the Lazio IPA delegation, Marco Borriello, the right assistance can also be offered to them. Borriello welcomed them with affection and, the next day, accompanied them to Termini station from which they then left for Naples. Thanks to Alfredo Iasuozzi and to the Association, whose name it best represents, it has been possible to write a beautiful page of what is by far the worst thing: war.
