THE IV FLIGHT DEPARTMENT OF THE STATE POLICE CAPITANATE FIRST DIRECTOR OF THE STATE POLICE AND VICE PRESIDENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL POLICE ASSOCIATION ANTONIO MOLINARO SAVES A 65-YEAR-OLD SKIER FALLED IN THE DROP

"Yesterday, a 69-year-old skier who fell several meters on an icy slope in the locality of "Piano Scalonazzo" in the Madonie, causing several fractures to his limbs, was rescued by the policemen of the IV Flight Department of the Boccadifalco state police captained by the first manager and driver Dr. Antonio Molinaro.

The intervention of the policemen, together with that of the Alpine and speleological rescue, carried out with timeliness and contempt of danger, made it possible to save the life of the victim.

The policemen completed a complex rescue operation made even more difficult by the strong wind and the rough environment. They first reached, immobilized and stabilized the injured person and then hoisted the stretcher through the winch supplied with the helicopter.

the 65-year-old injured, albeit in pain, thanked his rescuers in uniform before being transported to the “Civico” in Palermo.

How important the work done by Molinaro and his men is, there is no need to underline it.

Molinaro, whose compliments made by the unfortunate skier is associated with the editorial staff of centrabruzzonews.com, as well as being the first executive and pilot of the State Police for a few months is also the Vice President of the International Police Association. Molinaro is therefore also one of the national representatives, together with the Abruzzese Alfredo Iasuozzi, Settimio Paris and Mauro Nardella, of the largest Police Association in the world, led in Italy by President Nicolangelo Pezone, which has about 500,000 members worldwide and which has laid its foundations in 68 countries around the world.

The partial profile made by Molinaro represents only a small part of a long career of which the editorial staff of centrabruzzonews.com soon hopes to tell the whole complex".
